Osaka!

First entry of the trip and I'm on my last day in Osaka. Tomorrow we're going to Seoul, so I can no longer delay this entry. It had been days I wanted to write something, but the dynamics of the journey is not accompanied by much to say. The heat is stifling in here. You spend the day avoiding the sun and into all the shops you can if only to enjoy the air conditioning. A couple of hours wandering around the city and just think back to the hotel to take a shower and rest under air conditioned room. The walks in the heat added to the jet lag, sleep makes me almost any time.

Anyway, back to topic at hand: Osaka. What do you like Osaka? Imagine a mall, the kind that sure there are some in your city. Then stretch it out until they are 50 or 60 km and twist it on themselves to form a ball. Fill remaining holes with streets full of restaurants and you have Osaka. I know that in general, I am much given to florid allegories, but in this case I assure you I am not exaggerating. Not surprisingly, in a country where you have a restaurant every 50m, this city is known as "the city to eat until they burst." Also known as a noisy city and scandalous reputation that its inhabitants are taken very seriously maintain. Legions of waiters shouting the praises of his restaurant at the entrance the same, plus stores with loudspeakers at full speed, coupled with the always raucous pachinko (slot very popular in this country), make the walk through the galleries anything but quiet and relaxing experience.

As for my personal perception of the city, I'm not sure. Obviously, the heat has been a detrimental factor to consider, but I think my recent experiences in Korea have deteriorated my vision of Japan. Three years ago I felt like a fish in water in Tokyo, however, I did not enjoy Osaka finish as expected. Anyway, when you are in Seoul I'll tell you something else.
