Reduced allowable alcohol limit
Lima,Perú - El Correo -30 Octubre 2009: -- Sanción ejemplar para choferes de transporte público. El Congreso aprobó ayer un dictamen que reduce el límite máximo de alcohol permitido en la sangre, de 0.50 a 0.25 gramos/ litro, para los conductores de transporte público de pasajeros, mercancías o cargas. .. Éstos podrían recibir penas de hasta seis años de prisión si provocan accidentes con heridos o muertos, habiendo pasado el citado límite. .. Mientras tanto, the mere fact that a driver drive drunk or on drugs could mean a sentence of imprisonment of not less than one year nor more than three. .. Similarly amending Article 111 of the Penal Code stating that the sentence of imprisonment shall be not less than one nor more than four years if the crime (manslaughter) is a consequence of not obeying traffic rules . ..
