Probably not, but, if any, is not far away. Damdemun market is literally the Great South Gate. Maybe some will remember that this was burned a few years ago and still being rebuilt, so I could not see more than a collection of scaffolding, but the adjacent market far exceeds what. My first estimate, based on a map of part of the market was about 5000 jobs, vendors apart, but in subsequent estimates it became clear that this figure is much lower than real. 8000 may be more correct. And as 8000 gets a mere 800 paraditas in 1000 m2? well, I think these pictures can help you get an idea:
As you can see, there's only stop in the street. All the buildings that make up the market are full of endless hallways filled with tiny shops. These buildings not only extend upward, about 3 or 4 plants, but also downward, just as narrow underground, crowded and stops. This whole business maze must add, also street vendors. Here in Korea are everywhere, so I guess it's not illegal. You also get a photo so that you see an idea.
